How to Make Your New Rescue Feel at Home

Put them in kennels!!
"What?!!" I hear you cry. "How is that going to make them feel at home?" you are probably asking.
Well, I've just got back from a weeks diving in Scapa Flow, and while I was away Gill was out and about with work, so the beasts had to go to kennels; White Lodge of course. And a couple of weeks ago they were there for a couple of days while I was in France on business.
And on their return on both occasions, Troy seems to be happier at home. My theory is that each time he's gone back to kennels before, a) he's been on his own, whereas all four were in together, and b) he's stayed there for ages, whereas both times he's gone straight back to where he came from - home with me and the rest of the beasts. And the result is that he now knows that home really is home this time.
