BeastBreak 2006 - Day 3
We started off at a place called Bosham and walked to the beach. That's where we met Brydie, an Irish Wolfhound, and that meant dad went all gaga; he tried swapping us - as usual. Brydie was nice and very pretty in a big shaggy sort of way.

Brydie
After the beach we went up to the cliff tops. That was fab; you could see for such a long way, and it smelt of rabbits everywhere. Mind you, is my cousin Troy a whuss or what? We had to get through some gates - dad called them kissing gates. He held them halway open and we all, well nearly all, walked round the gate, but Troy was scared. He managed most of them eventually, but at one he would not go through and dad had to lift him over the fence; sometimes it is just so embarrassing to be related to him.

Saddle Bay
From the cliffs we went to another beach that was nearly empty, and then to the cafe at Stackpole Quay where we stopped for a rest. There was a very long dog with short legs there; dad said we were related as we were also dash hounds - didn't quite see how as I'm sure it couldn't run as fast as us. A very nice lady came and said hello to us, and to show just how nice she was, I let her stroke me. I guess I don't have to say who she fancied most - yes, it was Kai. Mum and dad had some lunch and we had two ice creams between us. While we were eating them (Jack trying to eat more than most), a lady walking past said she would like to be a dog in our family; have to say I quite like it.

The Arches at Barafundle Bay
Then we walked across Stackpole Park to the lakes at Bosham. It sounded like we were on holiday in Baghdad. Dad said there was somewhere near that people played at soldiers before they went it did it for real. When we got to the lakes we knew we nearly back to where we started, which we were all glad about as it had been quite a long walk and we were all getting tired, even cousin Troy wasn't trying to be in front all the time anymore. And we got back just in time as it started to rain just we got in the car.

Me and Boys with Mum
Must finish now as I can here tea going into my bowl.
Speak soon,
Maple.
PS Kai says he enjoyed the walk, but was a bit sad today as it was two years ago that his friend Izzy went away.

I think days four and five are going to have to wait due to a possible hangover! (Well I've got one anyway)
Well I enjoyed our multi dog walk yesterday and I think the humans enjoyed their jaunt down to the pub! It's been very quiet today anyway. Lets hope we all go out tomorrow again.
