BeastBreak 2007 - Day 6

Aunty Carol
It was triffic day - not a cloud in the sky and the current was nice and warm. We set off from Kete car park and wandered down to the light'ouse then off round the 'ead. It would 'ave bin nice to 'ave decent pics but dad forgot to put the card in 'is camera (mum called 'im summink wot rhymes wiv cat) so the pics are from 'is dog.

View from St. Annes Head
Along the parf we 'ad to go fru a swing gate. I ain't to keen on them, but I managed it OK and I wish there'd bin a few more of 'em, an' dad did an' all. Yer see, there weren't no more gates, only stiles, and that meant dad 'ad to lift us all over 'em one by one. That might 'ave bin all right for the odd one, but there was loads of 'em. After a bit dad saved Lucy 'til last as she's the lightest; no guessin' 'oo's the 'eaviest - no, not me - Rosie; she weren't too impressed to start wiv - don't fink she's used to bein' man 'andled like that.

The first stile (only anuvva 6 or 7 to go)
It was a great walk and we was all pretty tired by the end - which was dad's plan as they was out later. And the BeastBus 'ad it's first visitor. A real nice geezer called John spotted it in the car park and came over to 'ave a natter ('ee's kept by 'ounds) - if yer readin' this John; 'ello mate.
After tea we 'ad a kip while mum and dad went out to Aunty Carol's party. Then dad turns up an' grabs Rosie to take 'er to the party - 'parrently they all wanted to see 'er. When she gets back she says she's 'ad a really nice time wiv Lucy, Poppy and Aunty Beryl.
