Monty - Update 2

Just heard from the vet and the revision surgery seems to have gone OK; there is now "much better alignment between the shoulder, elbow and wrist". In addition to his broken leg Monty has "severe bruising to the front left and back right limbs"; sounds like he was lucky(?) not to have done more damage.
Apparently Monty ate well last night - not surprised, he hadn't eaten since Tuesday morning and he likes his food - and he'll of course be fed tonight. There will be a dressing change tomorrow and if (please) everything is OK they will think about letting home later tomorrow.
This might sound a bit of an oxymoron, but the house seems very empty with only six dogs; the space a dog leaves when they aren't here is much bigger than the one they take up when they are.

Hoping the broken Monty is soon mended - oh, and glad that he's not lost his appetite!
