Busted BloodBuster

Bad news - my ALT levels are up again.

Dad spoke to a lady from PBBuk on the telling bone today who said my ALT was high again. She said it might just be me and that the number - about 200 - wasn't serious, particularly if I wasn't showing any other symptoms - which I'm not.

But the really bad news is I've been busted from donating blood ever again. Apparently they can't take blood like mine even if it is normal for me. While of course I kind of understand that they only want the best blood, I'm disappointed that I won't be able help any more.

You should be proud you've helped out so much as it is. My two are off on their first trip to give blood next month, so you see, we're sort of taking your spot...

Great to see old and new friends, 'specially ones from Australia (you'd better leave comment for Lucy some time as she's half an Aussie) posting comments.

Best of luck to you guys giving blood; it's pretty OK and you get nice treats. I'm going to have to try and blag some now I guess :)
