Dexter
Dexter was the runt of a litter born at greyhound breeder. As you can imagine, runts don't stand much of a chance at a breeding kennel; if you aren't going to make it you don't exactly get the best of care - and Dexter needed care, he was suffering from diarrhoea and wasn't eating.
This is Dexter. To give you an idea how big he is he could sit in my cupped hands.

Dexter
I have to say it was very tempting to end his journey in Northampton, but Dexter needs 24 hour care and BeastBarracks, for all it's fine qualities, is not the place for a 5 week old puppy with a runny bum.
Dexter is now safe in in Bristol where he'll be nursed back to health.

We are so pleased you made the trip. Will there be a Dexter update from Bristol? Hard to believe that such a scrawny chicken leg can grow up to be a 'Troy Boy'
:-)
My regards to you all and we hope to see you on the November WL walk (October is a miss unfortunately)

What a lovely little pup! The pictures brought tears to my eyes but I guess he will be one of the lucky ones.
Lots of love to all. XXXXXX

Ann, While this little lad was needed help and fast he is probably the lucky one from his litter. He will have the best start in life and never know the what being in the industry is like.
