Gap Show

G'day mates. Like Mack said we're just catchin' up on the blog as dad's been hoggin' the computa; so sorry if you thought we'd just taken to the couch and weren't lettin' you know about our stuff.

Last weekend was the autumn Greyhound Gap show. Now, if you've been to the last few Gap shows or read our blogs about them you'll know that they've been wetta than the inside of a longneck. This time the weather was pretty spiffy and I can tell ya that everyone was pretty rapt about it.

For once we got their early and set up stall next to the cake stall that was being guarded by Cheese, Tom and Max. Aunty Jackie came over to say "Hi" to Kai, being his number one fan.

You kinda forget, but last year Rosie had just pitched up and she had to wear a muzzle at the show. This year she's "just" one of the gang. Loads of people said she looked well chilled and how it was great to see her out and about as a Beastly Beast.

She was the only one that got a rosette - third place for prettiest bitch would you believe. Uncle Colin said the judge was obviously blind - whether that was for giving her 3rd or not giving her 1st I'm not quite sure.

We were taking orders for Laney's Greyt Sweaters as usual and got a few. I bet the beasts that are getting them will be well chuffed.

Great thing about doing that is most everyone comes up and says "Hi" at some point in the day. Including this guy - Dozer. Talk about dreamy; girls, if you don't reckon he's a spunk you must've carked it.

These guys also also cam to see us. Dad thought they were totally fab and did his usual of offering all us for them. The fact we're still here tells ya that dad's offer wasn't taken up. They did make Rosie look small though.

A Pair of Danes

A few peeps that came up said they did a fair bit of shopping using our easyfundraising; to all of you, and everyone that does - cheers mates, we really appreciate it.

We always enjoy the Gap Show, but having the chance to get sunbaked made it even better. The show made &163;2157.93 and were pleased that we were able to our bit towards it.

Date for the next one is already sorted - Sunday 3rd May 2009. See you there!!
