BeastBreak 2008 Epsiode 2 - Day 3 - The Party
Today was also transfer day - we moved from Wynne's Cottage to Swallows Dance, much to Monty's delight as he could now go on pussy patrol and somewhat to Rosie's disgust as she had lost her vantage point to watch the comings and goings of all and sundry.
Last night I spent an "interesting" few hours as preparations were made to implement plan B; to hold the party in the lower barns. The preparations consisted of removing Carol's, Trevor's, and in some cases Andy's "historical artefacts" from the barns thereby making room for the guests. As with all accumulations theirs had expanded to meet the space available. I would love to be able to regale you with embarrassing tales as certain objects came to light, but unfortunately there were none (or Trevor plied with sufficient beer to keep my silence - you choose).
As Saturday wore on it became more and more dismal. Then it was time to go partying and the weather didn't matter any more. Somehow - not exactly sure how - I ended up as official photographer. There are far to many photos for this post but there's a few of my favourites below. Click here if you'd like to see the rest.

Suited and Booted

It's My Drink
It was a great party. The band were really good; the singer was a dead spit for Rupert Penry-Jones (Adam Carter in Spooks) and Andy was definitely in love. Talking of Andy, it will come as no surprise to those that know him that he was the most outrageous person at the party; it's a shame this is a photo and not a video.

Andy's Balloon Dance
When I say Andy was the most outrageous; he did have competition.

???
OK - he was.

Ride'em Cowboy
As with all good parties it went on well into the early hours of the morning and there were a few who couldn't remember all the details the next day; I was not among their number, though to be fair we weren't exactly up first thing.
Time for me to go and let Kai tell you about their day today.
