Jonny, along with hounds from other rescues, was taken out of a home where by all accounts he and the others weren't being looked after properly. He went into a foster home not far away; they said he was underweight and smelly when he arrived. It was decided to move him out of the area for everyone's safety, and we were asked to take him as a "permanent foster".
His previous home said he didn't go out much as he had arthritis; amazingly this got much better – as in he never had arthritis – on arriving here and he loves his walks; to the point that he bounces around so much that getting his collar and lead on can be an undertaking.
He is a lovely lad who has fitted in here perfectly.
